Well folks I’ve started a blog to capture all the fun I have while training for my 2nd marathon: BIG SUR on May 1st, 2011. Miranda Conrad will be joining me for her first marathon. This should be interesting as i signed up for the race because I heard how beautiful it was …. and then found out how hilly it was. So I will be defying gravity - those hills ain’t got nothin’ on me!! (Well they do right now… but we’ll see how this goes). So enjoy my new blog…. feel free to offer any training suggestions, thoughts, comments, good food ideas, whatever you’d like :P

Here we go: My training has been somewhat half-assed but tomorrow starts real training. Wait… I said that two weeks ago when Amy A and I decided to start P90X. Yea that’s right…. we got P90X .. and did it consistently for …. ONE WEEK! hahaha and then it all went downhill. Last week I think I did it twice, and also ate Buzz cupcakes and pie, and then had … oooh I don’t know about 3 cupcakes on Friday night with Amy, and then we brunched like gluttons today at Beacon Bar and Grill’s unlimited food and drink brunch. Yea we’re really good at this.  So like I said… real training starts tomorrow!

I did manage to get my running going, finally. I did 9 miles yesterday, about 5.5 with Lindsay Mathers yay!! And over the course of the week I got in a good number of runs. My new thing is to run with Colby Jack down around the mall to get my run in and to wear him out. So good so far for this past week. I’ll try to keep it up.
